ya, my booner got shot by a 19 year old coder at onX lolLast think I want is her boyfriend killing my booners. That would be crossing the line.
A Garmin inreach is my next purchase for sure
I got a call from a hunter late one night ( ‘“ I’m stuck in a wash out, and my insulin pump is on zero “ where are you?”” “‘ I don’t have any idea “”)
4 hours of driving roads on a 4x29 mile ranch is hard to find someone, a entire hunting unit impossible.
# 2 I like texting wife and contacts any updates on health, harvest , weather
Waiting for the thread title...Jody shot my BOAL....Last think I want is her boyfriend killing my booners. That would be crossing the line.
I always name those big buck/bull waypoints as "open mine shaft, poison oak or snake pit".ya, my booner got shot by a 19 year old coder at onX lol
My inReach is one of the few things that I spend money on and hope to never see a return on it. I hope that 15 bucks a month is just thrown away for life. The cost of an inReach starts looking pretty cheap in cases like that…
You can set up Inreach to post your location at set intervals to a private web page you can grant access to. I set it up so my wife and kids can go online at any time and see where I am at, if I am moving etc. This way they won't have to wait a long period of time to get their inheritance. That's great if you're conscious and have all your arms and digits in-tact, sure.
