Both of these loads shoot in my 1:8 tikka. 108 eldm
H4350 41 grains
.050 off

108 eldm
4831sc 44.5
.050 off
What kind of speed are you getting out of the 4831sc load? Hornady lists max at 47.1 for the 108 out of a .243.

What charge weight of h4350? Somewhere in the 41.3-41.9 range should produce sub-.5" 5 shot groups assuming the shooter is up to it.
Ill check the notes but I'm pretty sure we ran from 39-42 h4831sc shot a touch better and we're about to try h1000 on sat , and possibly some 90 grain eldx as the store was sold out of 103s

I think velocity’s were right around the same as my h4350 load. Factory barrel cut at 16” 2760fps
I stuck with h4350 because I had more of it and accuracy was the same.
Maybe Hornadys info is correct but I felt weird about adding more powder when I was already compressed.

Try 41.3 h4350 .02" from lands.

H1000 shot well in the 47.6 to 48.2 range for me but not as good as h4350. 3000fps at 48gr. I will likely test it again given all the barrel life talk.
