I would ignore all these other clowns ^^^ trying to hijack your thread, and listen to *this* clown: 👇

Have you thought about Match.com? Your wife might not like it --though you never know -- but you could meet a girl with huge ... tracts of land ... that will make you forget all about hunting wilderness.

I could expand on this idea, prolly out to about $60 worth if anyone paid writers anymore, but I've heard the moderators here have a hair trigger ...So I think I'll pass on pressing it. 🙃

You also have to think that the wardens might change their approach when they find out breaking the law is being flaunted.
Heaven forbid we don't bow down and kiss the King's men's boots. Any true American would be ashamed to enforce such an unjust and corrupt regulation.

Just a free man traveling not engaged in commerce.

Why even bother with tags or permits?

Honestly I don't really have a dog in the fight and have no plans of hunting WY any time soon. That said, based solely on principle I do take issue with WY preventing people from hunting federal land because of where they reside. It seems like overreach to me. That or a way to fill the pockets of the guides. Now if I chose to hunt WY I would probably do what the OP is trying to do and find a resident to hunt with because despite what you may think I do respect local fish and game rules. So good on the OP for toeing the line, respect. But shame on WY for the arbitrary regulations. And as a CA resident I know arbitrary regulations when I see them.

That's cool and all, but Wyoming has the right to manage its wildlife. They have private land only tags, off national forest tags.

They are not preventing anyone from hunting federal land. They are simply regulating how a non-resident can hunt federally designated wilderness.

Fix the mess in your own backyard.
