This has probably been asked before but I’m a non resident. I think I have enough points to draw H next year. Wondering if there’s any residents I could talk into going with me into the wilderness areas during the archery next year. Looking for someone that has hunted multiple days out of a backpack. I have horses or goats that I could pack both of our supplies and food. I’m willing to do all of my own scouting as well. I would mainly be interested in the archery hunt. If anyone is interested or can point me in the right direction on where to find someone you can send me a message to figure out details. I can’t afford an outfitter so not looking for that.

Wonder what would happen if they started treating it as a illegal take in the wilderness??
I wonder what would happen if someone was fined aggressively, and then took WY to court over hunting being the ONLY thing non residents are banned from in the Wilderness areas. Outfitter welfare at its finest.

It’s not just the Outfitters that benefit from this. Sure, the Outfitters have a strong lobby in Wyoming but Wyoming is a strong proponent of the Wyoming resident and know we need to get away from the guys from Alabama on their SxS. Every state should be of the same mindset.

Two weeks ago when I was hunting deer in Wyo the residents were everywhere riding their Polaris Rangers.
I could hardly get away from them on public land.

Always talk of these lawsuits or going to court but as of yet only one group of hunters has had the balls to do that and it wasn't over wilderness areas.
Would love to see someone do just this, any takers?
Wonder what would happen if they won and then Wyoming made NR licenses only valid in areas without wilderness and gave outfitters licenses from your NR pool?
We all know it is outfitter welfare by the way.

Yep, we let them help us or just go the other way, you can hear them coming and going.
