Looking for a good deal on a spotting Scope

Does anybody know where and from whom i can get a good deal on a strong power spotting scope? Maybe a Meopta or a Ziess? Lieka? or would you suggest some other kind? Didnt want to spend more than around 1300...Is buying a used one a foolish move?

Buying used is a good way to get more bang for your buck. Make sure of quality and functioning and you will be fine. $1300 is a good amount and you will have plenty of scopes available at the price. I don't know how big your looking, but I would look at eBay. Lots of good scopes and most offer 14 days to return if it is not what you like.
