Howdy All,
I'm hoping to throw this out there and see what you all think. I'm looking for a better bino pack setup.
Currently, I'm rocking the normal badlands bino pack with a couple of attachments to each side. I have a zip pouch attached on the right where I put my rangefinder and the badlands gps holder on the left where I put my garmin rino. My zip pouch on the right is functional. The gps holder is a joke and not easy to manage with one hand while in the field. Plus I've had my gps fall out a couple of times...thankfully on ground where I heard the thud! In addition to my binos, gps and rangefinder, I also carry my wind indicator and small wind meter with me. That way I've always got all my necessary gear on my person.
What I'd love to have is a bino pack that had closed pockets on both the left and right side to fit a range finder and garmin rino respectively. Keeping them out of the elements and operable with one hand would be the preference. I'd also love the straps that attach the the binos to be longer that what the badlands allows. Sometimes the bungee strings are annoying.
I've seen a lot of bino pack reviews on here, and I just haven't seen the set-up I'm describing. If it exists, or if you have a cleaver gear modification, I'm all ears!
Thanks,
jonny5
