Appreciate! I don't own a rangefinder, and I tend to be a real minimalist for having stuff on my chest area. I really just want the simplest protective binoc cover/retainer possible, and I want minimal presence. No radio, light, rangefinder, firestarter, cellphone, shot glass or nose-hair trimmer for me. :D I actually don't even really like binocs on my chest but nothing better exists when wearing a pack.

I agree with keeping it simple. I found something to try this year, a US military molle style canteen pouch. Several camo patterns available, lightweight, durable, and holds 42mm binoculars. I'm using the pals webbing to attach my daypack chest strap.

Used an FHF with a rhino on one side and range finder on the other for over a year. Now use an AGC and I won't be going back.
Msowa, why is that? Where do you out your gps and rangefinder now in the AGC? I ask because I'm leaning toward the FHF.

I won't speak for Msowa, but the front pocket works great for a rangefinder and the deep elastic pockets on the top work great for a gps. There are also places to dummy-cord all your important stuff so you aren't dropping it or dumping it out of the AGC.

I just picked up an AGC Cub with the bottom MAX Pocket. Jaret the owner must have shipped the thing before I paid, because it made record time getting to me. The Cub is perfect for my Swaro 10x42 EL's, Leica range finder as well as storing my GPS on either the side pocket, front pocket, or bottom. There's plenty of room in this pack for some snacks, headlamp and a few safety items. It's probably one of the most comfortable bino harness/pack system's that I've tried on or used. It's not the lightest setup out there if that's a concern, but it's very well made and thought out.

The FHF is what I use as well. If that's what you get, make sure to get the short tethers for your RF and GPS. The long tether is a mile long! lol. It works but its too long for me. I bought the FHF from Vortex, with the Vortex logo on the front. Small fits my 10x42 Viper HDs perfectly.

I've been on the fence but this pushed me over the edge. I'm going to order one now. Thanks!

You're a brave man to put a gps in those elastic "pockets" on top of the AGC. I wouldn't trust a pencil to stay in those things on mine.

I've seen a lot of guys jumping to the AGC. I'm still using an Allen Harness which is essentially a strap, but I'm strongly considering making the jump to a full harness. The AGC's very well designed and are getting really good reviews. The thing I like about them is that the designer is a hard-core hunter and knows what hunters need. It's not a spin-off from a backpack company. It's what they guy does, and he does it well.

Here's some more info on AGC in case you're looking: http://www.blackovis.com/brands/alaska-guide-creations

What Adam said about the elastic on top for the GPS, been trying to launch the rhino out of it and so far it's solid.

My 8x42 EL RF's were super snug in the largest FHF but drop into the AGC; probably the biggest reason I switched.

The harness of the AGC is a big improvement over the FHF too

I wouldn't trust a pencil either, but a gps fits in there nice and snug (at least mine did). And again, I dummy cord anything critical.

I've tried the Kuiu, FHF, Badlands, and now I'm using the AGC CUB with max pocket and so far so good. I left the FHF because I didn't like the openings on the sides of the pouch letting dust and dirt in. The CUB works great to hold my Vortex Viper 10x42 binos, rangefinder, Garmin Oregon 650 fits in one of the side zipper pockets, and I keep my Galaxy S6 in the bungee pocket on top. I'd love to see the straps be a little thinner more like the FHF straps, and if they could come up with a way to have the rangefinder pocket without a zipper I think it would be perfect!

For now AGC CUB is my number 1, FHF is number 2.

I've got a BinoBro Pro from Oregon Packworks coming in the mail. They don't seem to be too common, but what I've read has been positive, I'll try and post some pics when it arrives since there's not much info on them.

I liked the looks of the FHF, Kuiu, and AGC, all had aspects I liked, but all had something I didn't like. The flip back lid of the FHF and AGC, the shoulder straps not attaching to the harness on the Kuiu, the big harness of the AGC.

I wanted something simple, just binos, windchecker, microfiber cloth, and maybe a GPS and rangefinder. I like the flip forward lid of the Kuiu, the lightweight harness system of the FHF, and the pocket layout of the AGC KISS. The Binobro seems to be a combination of those, with a webbing harness, flip foward design, and two pockets on the side with a bottom pocket. Might have to do side pockets on the harness for a GPS and rangefinder but I'm fine with that.

Biggest downside is that it doesn't have straps for the binos if you're glassing a lot and not putting them right back in the pouch. Could just wear a neck strap on the binos, but I'll probably try and dyi something like the FHF and AGC. I also wish it came in Fusion, but I'll live. If I find I'm not a fan of it, I think the AGC KISS will be my second choice.
