I bought used mags off the classified and stole the springs. Still a better deal than MT or Waters.

And no, I have no dog in the fight.

Are all tikka fa tory mag springs the same/interchangeable? Or do the different length magd have different springs. I like the idea of finding cheap mags and repurposing the springs, especially if any old tikka mag will do regardless of cartridge...this would make ituch easier to source mags.

S on the left, M+ on the right. In both pictures.
I tried the M+ springs in the Ascension Industry mags I had and they seemed to function the same as the S springs.
Loaded 4 and popped them out with my thumb and it seemed the same as the standard S spring.

Looks like a possibility. At least worth a shot.

All of the standard capacity magazine springs functioned interchangeably.

I didn’t try the extended capacity springs.

Yes, at least that’s the idea. Factory 223 mags do have issues when you get em wet. There’s discussion about it in other threads.
