Looking for suggestions on a budget friendly long range hunting scope with a zero stop and capable up to 1000yds. Budget is around 400-900$ and it will be for a bergara 6.5cm
Thanks in advance

Zeiss V4 4-16x is one of my favorites and can be found for $8-900....

But shooting 1k yard with the 6.5 creed is skill in itself that probably lends itself to lots of practice. Whatever optic you buy, save money for components or ammo and shoot a lot!!!!

I’ll have to look into that one, I’m fairly proficient at long range with my 300wm and reloads I just got this more for antelope and long range coyotes. It has the sig tango4 but they are discontinued so I’m trying to find something similar.

This comes to mind. Usually 1x is good enough per 100 yards for hunting. Coyotes are fairly small though so it might be nice to have a little more magnification than 10x.

Any thoughts on the signature HD series?
I have one (2-10) on a savage 212 slug gun that kicks like a mule on Mexican creatine and its been great. (~100 rounds over 2 years). Not a conclusive study but at least one experience. I test mine to 300y regularly. No zero stop on them though.

Also the Zeiss V4 has been a favorite for my 6.5. RedHawk rifles usually has demos on sale with full warranty.

+1 for the XTRIII, out of several Arkens on rimfires, owned Athlon Cronus and multiple sightrons. XTRIII is a different level above.
