Lift XD - Mods below “D”?

Had anyone has tried putting mods below D on their Lift XD to get DL below 32”? Mathews states it’s only 32-33.5” draw but am curious if anything would happen if I put an E or F mod on?

Asking because I want to use head choppers turkey hunting with my Lift XD but it’s hard to find 34+” arrows that clear my fingers. Don’t care about efficiency or feel, if it shoots and tunes I’d try it

I'd probably be more apt to make something to extend the arrow. Footers use to be fairly common.

If you are using a .204 arrow, probably easy to find a .246 that fits it pretty tight. Thin wall 500 spine, 50 gr aluminum insert thats 2.5" long let it sit on the front of the shaft, 4".


I think the genesis shafts (Easton 1816) will fit over a lot of .246 shafts.

Easton Axis 260 and 200 bare shafts come in at 34”. Add a half out that’d add another 1/2” to the overall length. That’s the longest full length shafts I know of off the top of my head
