What height are your talley rings?

Did stockys change there name? I noticed on your original post it was a different brand ?

I'm pretty sure stockys sold those and "kiwi composites" did as well. Might have been before stockys made their own carbon stocks? I don't think that model is around anymore.

That’s correct, they were made by kiwi composites before we brought manufacturing in house.

Awesome cartridge. I hunt with a couple of very similar 35 Whelens. Love them.
I bought a stainless 30-06 I was gonna make a 35 whelen. Then the 30-06 shot cheap ammo under and inch. Now I have three 30-06s and I picked this up. Fairly popular in Europe and at the time I thought reloading components would be easier to get than 35 whelen. I hunt with a couple brothers whole swear by 35 whelen in Remington pumps.

One of my Whelens is a 7600 carbine. Use it for snow tracking/still hunting.

Does a battue with a new trigger spring count as semi-custom? Jk. Has a 3-9x40 Trijicon accupoint and it is in 9.3x62. I use it for PA bear drives.
The 9.3x62 has the cool factor off the charts!. I have a 35 Whelen too but always loved what the 9.3x62 offers and think it's an amazing cartridge. You mentioned a Limbsaver, I bet that helps a lot with such a light gun.

Have everything but the stock.. I am torn between Stockys VG carbon or Pure Precision/Mesa Altitude. Seen quite a bit of both on here. Any input? Help me decide please haha. Seems like the Mesa is better fit and finish but the stockys seems to shoot better? Going on a 7PRC

My vote is stockys. With discount code and customer service presence here they are hard to beat.

My bottom metal fit really right but the factory one fit fine. They are also lighter.

T3X started as a 223 hunter model
20" 223 1:8 CTR take off
PSE E-Tac
Atlasworx aics dbm
Nxs 2.5-10x32 moar with vortex caps
30mm low optilock ringmounts

Been shooting a lot of frontier 68gr bthp. Its cheap and agrees with this rifle. Usually 1-1.5moa, often less. This barrel has been super consistent and can shoot quite small groups if I load for it.

I have 308 and 6.5cm barrels for it too.
