@Mark at EXO If the 25" frame is too long following testing, I assume the stays could be cut down like the K4? Based on an above post about a 3rd party gunbearer ripping the molle, what is the weight limit on hip for that? I'm not planning to put 16lbs there, but I often like to hold my bow with molle off a clip, etc. Typical bow weight (no stabilizer for me or lots of junk). Thanks!

Since it got some traction, I’d like to clarify, my issue was user error - the side molle panel didn’t rip, some stitching gave way in the upper corner. That was with a lot of hiking with a 16+ lb rifle in the 12th two day match depending on what was designed to hold a belt pouch and its contents. Well over 1000% over design intent. And, it could continue to function fine as intended, it didn’t rip off by any means. A hunting weight rifle would never have even started to cause an issue. I remember hearing stitching rip and didn’t know what it was, and proceeded to not change my tactics for a day and half to completion. It was only when I got home that I discovered the damage.

Looking back it’s pretty wild that it did as well as it did, and it never reached critical failure even after the stitching gave and I continued to abuse it.

Jake @ Exo was way beyond accommodating and helped me to a fix the issue in an extremely faster and more economical way than I expected. I told him in the first comm that it was my fault and my fault alone and he went above and beyond to solve the issue and keep my pack with me to continue training for the fall.

TLDR; Exo rocks, as we all know!
