What the weight on that rifle looks great!Tikka action and 22” 7 PRC proof pre fit from JA Outdoors
Manners EH1TK stock I picked up here in the classifieds
Just saving for a scope now. Can’t wait to get this rifle out and start doing some load development.
Bare rifle is 6.88lbs according to my wife’s kitchen scale. What the weight on that rifle looks great!
Just posted this in the classifieds as well, but I’m in the market for a left hand carbon fiber stock for a T3x with a barrel channel that will work for a Carbonsix Sendero. Would like to get my first build put together before hunting season, which is unlikely to happen if I buy new and wait. Shoot me a message if you have anything. I’m open to anything but Stocky’s. Went 0/2 on the last two I bought from them. Thanks!
What stock is this? This got sandwiched together yesterday.

Should be a good loaner rifle.
What stock is this?
I had a dream about this setup in this caliber last night. Such a smart build IMHO!!Tikka T3x Stainless Action
PBB 16.25” 6creed in Hybrid Lite contour
Stocky’s VG CF stock in Strata
UM rings
UM level
S&B Klassic 3-12x42
Just waiting on my suppressor!
1) No bedding, but I haven’t shot it seriously yet. Was waiting on the new scope and rings. I’m going out of town for a couple weeks so plan to shoot when I get back. No inletting either.I had a dream about this setup in this caliber last night. Such a smart build IMHO!!
A few questions:
Did the Stocky’s require bedding or inletting top or bottom?
What’s the max killing range with your chosen load at that barrel length?
Did you consider glassing in some ARCA or Pic or a Spartan gunsmith adapter?

Maybe this plus a gunsmith adapter is your huckleberry?1) No bedding, but I haven’t shot it seriously yet. Was waiting on the new scope and rings. I’m going out of town for a couple weeks so plan to shoot when I get back. No inletting either.
2) Running numbers from someone else’s setup, I think the 108 ELD-M hit 1800 at around 600 yards. I’m not a good enough shot for live game at that distance — hopefully with some more practice though! I’ll chrono soon hopefully and then know more.
3) I did consider an arca rail, and even posted a DIY thread about it here. But most arcas are flat, and the Stocky’s is slightly rounded forearm. Also, I taped one in place and just spent some time fondling the rifle, only to find I didn’t like having an arca permanently attached. It’s not comfortable to carry in the hand, and it made shooting offhand harder. I’m hopeful there’s a better solution than permanent arca attachments coming soon — something like a removable arca similar to how the Spartan bipods attach.
Sort of, except if the Spartan adapter was recessed into the stock. I don’t want anything clunky attached where my hand goes or where I may rest the forearm on a rock/limb/etc.Maybe this plus a gunsmith adapter is your huckleberry?
Arca to Spartan 12mm Converter
Now shooters that have already invested in a third party Arca-compatible ball or pan head can exploit the benefits of the Spartan magnetic rifle attachment system. Made from CNC machined 7075-T7531 aluminium with a durable hard-anodised finish, the Arca to Spartan Converter attaches quickly and...javelinbipod.com

Beautiful rifle there, that's the basic direction I'm headed with mine.My latest build is quite the shooter. Used it for the cold bore challenge after getting a load put together for it.

These sit completely flush like a QD cup.Sort of, except if the Spartan adapter was recessed into the stock. I don’t want anything clunky attached where my hand goes or where I may rest the forearm on a rock/limb/etc.
