Threw together another one for a buddy today.

24” 7mm PRC Proof Sendero prefit
Bolt fluting and skeletonized handle by Polished Knob
Mountain Tactical bottom metal
Little Bastard Brake
Mesa stock in Alpine

Weight is with the rail but without the bipod. Rifle feeds flawlessly and headspaced great. Time to get a few groups down range.

Follow up- first 3 shots down range

The opposite of a lightweight hunting rifle, but here is my 6 BRA (6mm BR Norma - Ackley Improved) Tikka. Built for PRS style competitions, 26" Bartlein MTU barrel, Athlon ETR, McRee G10 chassis. Shoots 105 Hybrids at 2920, basically zero recoil.

This is so funny, I built basically the exact same rifle down to the chassis. Did you have to turn down the MTU barrel at the shank? I'd think that would be greater than the size of the action.

First one built from scratch thanks to a lot of the good folks on here, this is my 2nd Tikka 300WM. If this one shoots 200 grain bullets well, I’ll swap the barrel on the other one to a 6.5 prc. Stock was hand painted with texture, vertical grip, limbsaver, barrel cut to 19 in and apa muzzlebreak. Need to throw on the SWFA 3x15 moa on there and see how it shoots

Hey guys quick question, after the new 300 WM build I’m thinking of swapping barrels on my other 300WM to a 6.5 prc. Do i need to look at getting a bolt stop or any other “functional” mods or is it just a barrel swap?

You can run it as is or get a short bolt stop. Other than that barrel swap and you’re good to go.

What stock is this and how much did it weigh? Also what barrel?
I got 23.9oz with the steel lug.

This came to me as a barreled action, so I don't know anything about ordering.

I just got a bolt back that was fluted by LRI, and they also installed the Lumley Superlite v2 skeletonized titanium bolt handle for me. When I dry fired it this afternoon, the bolt handle has a pretty good amount of resistance to lift and cycle, and there are rub marks on the bolt shroud (still have the stock bolt shroud). Anyone have this happen to them or know what might be going on? I also sent an email to LRI.
