Made my living behind a rifle scope in the army, put down my rifle seven years ago and haven't picked it back up since. (Seeing a deer in my crosshairs didn't get my blood pumping after two tours in Iraq)

Avid waterfowler, especially snow geese, and now addicted archery hunter, hopefully will make my first archery harvest this year!

Love elk hunting although hard to make it out as much as I would like to.

Currently looking for a new area to hunt after my old hot spot took a wolf dive.

Sorry I didn't see this before I started posting.
I am From MN. I am 56 and nowadays the thought of carrying any part of an elk on my back makes my knee hurt.
Biologist.
Spent a lot of time in canoes when young and enjoy backpacking and fly fishing.
Do quite a bit of bird and some duck hunting with my dogs.

Have hunted white tail and mule deer.
I have been fortunate to make it to the west a few times a year. My wife is very tolerant.
My favorite rifle is a flintlock. My second favorite rifle is a 280 AI. Both are interesting.
I am now trying to learn elk before I run out of time. This site has helpful.

I'm an electrician at a coal mine on top of a mountain in south-eastern BC, but I spend most of my time looking at the elk, sheep, mule deer, and goats, which are more interesting. (And they pay me for it!)

32 the last time I checked, with two of the most beautiful little blonde girls that came from an equally gorgeous wife that has turned into quite a huntress.

I live for this stuff... all of it. Gear, guns, bows, different species, strategies, I live hunting. My bow has filled a lot more tags than my rifles have, but any opportunity is game for me.

My biggest thrill is getting new hunters in on the action. The look on their faces is my biggest reward.

31 years old, and live to hunt, and to pass it on to my young ones. Hunt mainly whitetail, turkey, and a waterfowl addict, with one Colorado backpack elk hunt under my belt, but the other one is being planned already. Avid rugby player, and coached our college team for 3 years, and although I am slowing down a bit, I can still mix it up with the best of them!
