Then we got a heads-up that a major storm (residual typhoon) was coming ashore near our location, so we moved camp for better cover, and I removed the center-pole of our day shelter tipi before it came through full force (just in case)...

and then after a couple days, the evening that it had passed and was over...

This one was for sure MY "best camp photo" this year!

I think I’m deer hunting pretty close to your area, but probably a touch to the west based off those rock formations in the background.

I’m used to my backpacking tent, but rented a house on Airbnb with the temps being below 20 degrees next week pretty close to where I’m hunting!

This will be a new experience for me!
