Cold sheep hunt in a bivy. SG bag was a life saver. Totally different story the next year in the same area. All ready for the weather I experienced the last season with a SO Cimarron and wood stove. Never got cold enough to use the stove.

Gotta be quite the scavenger hunt finding decent firewood around there!

No firewood around, so relying on large down sleeping bags and two MSR XGK stoves (they hold up excellently in low temps when burning gasoline).

The plateu separates the western part of Norway from the eastern part.

It definitely was an extremely wet fall last year for many of us...record setting in some areas.

Your shared pics are a great visual reality of the value we all place on having reliable shelters when on extended remote-drop hunts.
