There's really no need to even leave the shelter when it's floorless.I understand the bear wire, but a question what if ya got a pee at 0 dark thirty in a hurry.ever get should we say too close to the wire. would be a life altering experience. nice camps

The tipi is actually my buddies set up. The tarp works really well for keeping the snow/ rain off, don't use it if he's packing the stove in. Extra set up time is minimal, a couple extra minutes, and snow dumps at the edges instead of down the walls. No damage to the tarp, and it's a super light Sil tarp. The tipi pocket in the Kifaru is well padded. I actually had packed my Go-lite tarp tent that trip, but after getting the bull taken down and a blizzard rolling in setting it up wasn't even a consideration. I typically carry my Kuiu Mountainstar if I'm going solo in the rifle seasons, but if with my buddy the tipi is the primary and my tarp tent is the spike camp tent.

Those views are the ones that mean the most to us. I’d trade 100,000 sunrises and sunsets for my daughter to be that young again.
