Long story short but I am left handed with a bad left eye so Inhave to shoot with my right eye (and left eye closed). I was given a left-handed from my father in law. I took it in to the local archery shop to get draw length and weight adjusted and they said that I wasn’t the first person to come through with a similar issue and they showed me how to shoot peepless. I was interested in upgrading the sight but they said the sight on the bow was the only would that would work (square 3 pin sight - not manufactured anymore) as it was the only one that could reach far enough to the right. A few questions:

1) anybody know of any of the newer more advanced sights that would accommodate my needs?
2) anybody currently shoot like this - left handed but with right eye only or vice versa? If so, any tips on technique and gear suggestions.
3) should I just learn to shoot right handed - they were more interested in getting g my bow to work for me then selling me a new bow which I thought I was cool but maybe it is best to just make the switch?

Thanks!!

Don’t know if the new ‘hi tec’ Sights like the Garmin or Burris would work but wallet permitting may want to look at them.
Have you considered shooting ‘instintively’.Works great for many.
Absent those considerations think I’d switch if physically fit and willing to spend the time.

I have more of a dominance issue then a vision issue, but i just learned to shoot on my strong eye. I am right handed and have shot a bow/shotgun left handed all of my life due to the strong dominance of my left eye. It works fine for me and a lot of other guys out there. I think it would be worth a shot to give a right handed bow a try.
