Well I'm finally gonna order some new camo and have decided to go with kuiu but am undecided on camo pattern. I live and hunt primarily western Washington but will be doing a good amount of outta state hunting over the next few years and not sure how the different patterns play into that. Any input would be great, thanks

In my personal opinion it really depends on both how you hunt and not just where in a macro sense (region/state) but more in the micro sense (types of forest, trees, etc.). I hunt mostly sage and oak brush and therefore I personally think Vias wouldn't work for me. I also sometimes just lay in the middle of a grass field with absolutely no cover and again, Vias is not good for that either. If you hunt canopied forest (Aspen, Pine Spruce) where there are some more solid like backgrounds I think Vias may work better. But for me it's Verde because the backgrounds that I am trying to blend into are more leafy than woody or rocky.

Also, Kuiu isn't always consistent in their coloring and some think that some pieces are too bright for them in certain pieces and too dark in others.

Interesting all the reasons you didn't choose vias is why I chose it Verde is much to green for me. We hunt similar areas but opposite feelings on green haha. They don't see color anyway just shades. In the end its all about selling it to the hunter not performance on game.

My reasoning is not about color but the size/detail of the pattern. If my background is leafy I don't like Vias because the size of a leaf is smaller than the size of the patterns on Vias. Verde was designed to blend into rock and judging by Jason's Montana hunting video it blends in well to the trunks of trees. Both of which don't have much micro pattern. I will admit though, I am partial to digi-type patterns. I also like FL fusion and have that for any of my FL pieces.
