I’m looking at these two packs for Midwest hunting (turkey/whitetail) and airline carry. Does anyone have experience with both of these?

Ive had the regular Kuiu Venture for day hunts for a couple years. It’s been really good. I’ve seen the Avail but never used it. It looks nice as well.

Wish I had some more useful help, I've been leaning towards getting a Kuiu Divide for a while but haven't yet. Looks like a great all around pack and I really like the divide feature. The Stone Glacier should be a good choice too though, hopefully someone will have some useful feedback.

I know this is an old thread, thinking the same as the original post. Any other feedback out there between these two packs for a carryon and daypack?

I can only speak to the Kuiu Venture Divide 2000, I ended up getting one and used it for a hunting day pack last year. It was very comfortable and I'm happy with the size and flexibility all the compartments gives. The divide pocket did not get used as much as I expected, when the bag is full it's hard to get stuff in and out of it. It's still convenient to have it there though for carrying longer items, I used it for both a tripod and my rifle, it was just slow getting them in and out.

Awesome, thank you!

I never cared for the avail for hunting. Never had the divide but really like the venture 2300

I was wondering about that pack as well. Seems like lots of people like that one. Thanks

I’ve carried the venture with me all over North MS. I’ve owned the divide for a couple of years and still has the tags on it and have never even unzipped it (I’m not sure why). I recently picked up the kifaru minikeg and excited for it. For western hunting I always just ran out of room in the venture. Holds a puffy, maybe a vest and shooting “stuff” but that’s about it. I almost prefer the divide 1200 over the venture because you know you can’t take much with you when you have it.

I like the deep pockets for sticks, tripod, or water in the minikeg.
