Kill pictures from cartridges above 6.5 Creed???

I'm not sure pictures tell the whole story. I still haven't ever taken an entrance or exit picture after decades of hunting. I think there is a "type" that bothers to take the picture. Not an insult, but still, I think it's a small number of people.
Agree even though I just posted them. I took pics because i wanted to remember correctly myself, and since coppers get dissed so frequently to show what my experience has been when it comes up. But would not be taking pics like that if it wasnt for a few particular topics that come up here.

I second what @Macintosh has pointed out, I only started taking pictures for the sake of data collection, which is a major perk of this forum. Pictures tell a part of the story, while detailed explanation provides the rest.

Ever since getting back more into reloading/developing loads, I love taking pictures for data/accuracy purposes. From targets to field. Knowing you put in the time and effort and gain the success. Its worth the pictures to me.

Got out for some summer crop damage shooting, apologies for the lack of photography, but it was 100 degrees f, so had to get to cutting promptly.

She got spooked by a fox as I touched off the shot resulting in a low liver hit with accompanying evisceration. She then ran and began to snow plow, total travel distance was about 90 yards.
Frankly amazed she made it that far, ground was paved with blood.

Been shooting a 300 WM with 215 Bergers for years but switched to 223 last year. Never had issues killing anything with it. I made the mistake a couple years ago of hunting with my wife's 6.5 cm Kimber 84m and I enjoyed how light it was so much I ditched the 300WM for a 223 tikka. Now working on making it as light as I can. Here's a few photos of 300 WM kills.

I never took photos of bullet damage before the 223. I took a bunch last year of 223 kills. Wish I would have with the 300.

@Pickettpuncher

That muzzleloader is moving
275 at 2800 is……….convincing. 😁
It’s a handful. I really tried to lessen the recoil last year and need to try to get down some more. One shot is fine, but after that it sucks. Depending on the bullet used, 2775-2825 was my top speeds for 275s.

Started life out as a savage 10 in 308. 24” Pacnor barrel. Hankins brake and ignition system. The plug used is obsolete now. Modules. Trijicon credo 2.5-15 scope. Boyds stock. It’s a laser.

Meant to add this groundhog. 300wm. 178 eldx. 70 yards.
