I have both .270 Win. and 6.5 PRC. Using all-,copper handloads, they are like twin sisters. With B.C.s of .463 and .468 and velocities around 3000 f/s, they are ballistic duplicates of each other. To answer your question: I wouldn't even consider the 6.5 Creed, especially since you have no recoil problem with your 270 and are planning to use a suppressor on your new rifle. As for barrel wear, if you are only shooting 200 rounds a year, the PRC should last at least 20 years. Both rifles should re-sell easily with an edge to the Creed. Good luck!
