If you told me I could only hunt with my reckoning for the rest of my life I would not be sad about it. It shrinks down small enough for day hunts, add a lid and you’re good for a week. It is a pretty simple old school design, to me that is the appeal.

The velcro bladder thing is silly. I cut a port and use a SG hydro sleeve hung from the chamber pocket for mine. I also use some third party clips for the lid.

When I had one I did the same thing. I sold it due to loving my DT2 and DT3. But, I still use the SG water bladder when I’m using my woodsman bag.
