I'm interested in the New 8x32 UHD as well.

Widest FOV in a currently produced 8x32 at 472 FT which is just 5 feet shy of 477 FT of the 8x42 Swarovski NL Pures followed by 465FT Zeiss Victory SF 8x32 which I'm currently trying to find the best deal on to buy next as well.

It's called OCD needing to compare anything and everything including the exact same models. I'm curious to see how that Athlon Cronus UHD Gen 2 15x56 compares to my $155 Baigish 15x60 and $450 Vortex Vulture HD 15x56 and you had already mentioned the Burris Signature HDs are slightly clearer and I don't yet have a Cronus UHD Gen 2 in 15x56 in my collection yet.

I am currently seeking psychiatric help now and have in fact already had 3 sessions and in fact seen 2 different shrinks within the last 4 weeks. With appointments scheduled for at least twice a month until I'm (hopefully) cured.

Bless you. If I discussed my OCD with shrinks, they'd probably retire or go to a ward themselves.

Did anybody ever purchase these from amazon? I see the 12x50's are now only like $263. These would not be used for hunting; I'd just buy a few pairs for a couple of our haying & chore tractors and maybe the UTV's if they were are decent.

I only had the 15x Athlons to compare too. The Burris were better in every way except the focus wheel isn't as smooth as I'd expect

A buddy and I grabbed some 8x42s when they were on for $187. They’re quite good for the Amazon blowout prices. Really good resolution, but a rather narrow FoV.

I used mine last weekend on a bear hunt, and compared them to a bunch of other 8x42s. They’ll make a great truck bino.

I don’t have any experience with the either of them in 12.5x, but have used the Tract 15x, 8x and 10x a fair bit. And based on comparing the Burris 8x and Tract 8x side by side, I’d bet money the Tract 12.5 is noticeably better than the Burris. And it’d better be, it costs quite a bit more than these Amazon Burris deals.

Hard to say I actually prefer the more vibrant colors and image pop from the ScoopX UHDs over these Burris Signature HDs but they don't have a FOREVER warranty. Plus the price just went up to $99.00 plus $18.60 so I'm actually a bit hesitant to recommend them lately due to no longer being $65.00 with free shipping and without a warranty. It's just like buying a used or demo or new open box NIKON Binoculars without any warranty support from NIKON or owning a NIKON without a dated proof of purchase receipt from an authorized Nikon authorized dealer.

These Burris Signature HDs are actually kind of like my Swarovski NLPURE 8x42s regarding flat muted unexciting color that doesn't really pop like the ScoopX UHDs and Athlon Midas UHD Gen 2 and even the Cronus UHD Gen 2. It just appears as if you're actually closer to the subject when looking through them with the not so much color pop.

Think of the ScoopX UHDs as an improved lighter weight version of the Athlon Cronus UHD Gen 2 and without a lifetime warranty that won't make you feel dizzy or nauseated when looking through them that are also way cheaper too or an upgraded Midas UHD Gen 2 with much better glass and field flatteners added.

I digiscoped well over 1300 high resolution pictures last year. This is my hobby. The Scoopx 10x42 UHD never equals my Athlon Midas G2 Uhd, whether the 1951 AF Chart, or the scenic veiw of cliffs that I compared many different binoculars from many different brands , The Scoopx i have functions well, quality build.Ive taken probably over 100 shots with them. The set i have doesn't add up to the Hype that many give them. My Athlon Cronus UHD 10X42 is in another league from the Scoopx. That said ,I do believe them to be a steal for the price. Since this thread has been covering the Burris Signature HD, I got in a set today in 8x42, the image quality is very good. ,but the focus wheel on my sample is very stiff and grabby. Not fluid at all. I'm having Amazon send me a replacement set. I'll continue to work the focus knob to see if it settles down, if the second set is like this ,ill return and get something else. Also ,nowhere on the Box or binoculars is there any mention of country of manufacture. I own over 50 sets of binoculars and spend significant time with each. So the focus knob is a real thing. Only have to wait 3 days for the replacement to arrive. ,maybe I can loosen these up with repetitive working the knob back and forth. You should be good right out of the box. Hope this is just a 1 off.

Mine have Japan stamped on them. The writing is very small.
