I'm far from an expert in this field but it seems like the legitimate news sources are stating that Imane has Swyer syndrome. I honestly don't know where to draw the line with regards to gender in sports but hopefully someone with a much better understanding of endocrinology than me is the one informing these decisions from a biological standpoint. This person failed a gender test and was not able to compete in the past. Does that sound normal? Also, regardless of this situation men shouldn't be allowed in women's sports. Especially contact sports. Someone is going to get killed.

The international boxing association (IBA) that did not allow Imane to compete is also a Russian-owned organization that was suspended from the 2020 and 2024 olympics due to a lack of financial transparency and corruption, so hardly a shining beacon of moral and ethical standards. USA Boxing also withdrew from the IBA and did not send any fighters to the 2023 world championships.

I don't have a dog in this fight but am dumbfounded by the amount of misinformation and outrage over it.
