Is there such a thing as a stock Grizzly semi-auto?

I thought 10mm was a long 40? Isn't 10mm case length 25mm and 40 is 22mm? I've heard people shooting 40s out of a Glock 20 but doubt the opposite would work? What am I missing?

The model number is 40, but it's still a 10mm.

I also run Underwoods in my G20, it leads some, but not excessively, just do maintenance. Don't know that I'd shoot hundreds without cleaning, but it's not really a combo that I like to shoot hundreds of anyway. I carry mine in a Hill People Gear chest rig.

Sig 220 10mm will handle anything you want to put through it. I have had mine for 3 years now and have put over 4000 rounds through it with no problems.110899

I have a little custom done to my G20

My factory g40 handles underwood 200 gr fine. Buffalo bore and underwood sell heavy flat nose fmj ammo too, I’d just use that if you have concerns with glocks and hardcast.

I settled on a S & W 1006. Great gun if you can find one.

Owned a Sig 220 SA/DA in 10mm for awhile. No issues with it, I just didn't take to it.

I bought a modified glock 20 and had the same issues as others above.

I heard the barrels of a Glock don’t like all 10mm ammo.

I bought a Colt Delta Elite 10mm. 1911 Good enough for my pops to carry it in WWII against Nazis , good enough for me.

Any Glock 29 owners out there with experience running bear loads? I’ve been thinking about getting one.

Mine G20 is stock other than night sights. Runs most hardcast just fine if I clean it once in a while. Factory springs, factory barrel... all that.

My observation at the range and various handgun classes is that highly modded guns frequently have reduced reliability. So mine aren't tweaked much.

If I bought another, I'd probably consider an XD, but am pretty satisfied with the way this one has ticked.
Any recommendations for a pack holster for a g20. I'm running a mystery ranch bino harness and plan to carry by bear spray below it for stalks where I drop my pack. Looked at the mystery ranch semi holsters and the velco security strap looked awful suspect. Thanks in advance ...

Also interested in finding a good G20 holster..dont want a kenai

Yep. Mine was okay stock, but I knew there were more reports of stability issues of hard cast out of the shorter barrel so I went to an extended Lone Wolf barrel with a couple ports to also help with some muzzle flip. If I did it all again, I'd invest more into a KKM barrel as the Long Wolf one wouldn't allow buffalo bore rounds to seat all the way in. I sent it back and they cleaned up the chamber. It's all good now and it's very accurate.

Still, the best thing I did to it was to add grip tape. Nothing wrong with the normal grip, I just like the extra traction.

My G20SF is stock except for;
Polished feed ramp
Polished trigger components [ I did the the $.30 trigger job...yep its $.05 better] and I took that bump on the Side of the trigger bar down 20%....I might take it down more as my G@) takes a little coaxing to assemble/disassemble
SS Guide rod with stock spring
Stock barrel.

FWIW, I have 700 rds. through it....300 rds.of DoubleTap 200gr/1300FPS Hardcast with zero malfunctions.

I did get a little bit of leading on the feed Ramp and some lead discoloration in the first 3/4" of the barrel on the one shooting session after 200 rds straight of DT. I was checking it every 50 rds.....so it took a lot of hardcast to get any sign.

I had no overpressure signs; no flat primers and no bulging cases.

BTW, I love this pistol.

There are more than a few guys that say a stock HK USP is 100% with .45 Super Hardcast ammo in them....and I believe it.

To date my HK's are the only semi autos the first timers- kids and women- I take out shooting cannot make them malfunction.
