Here is my ongoing review and pattern testing for my CVA Scout Spur .410.

I had intended to use Vortex’s new universal mount shotgun red dot but it ended up not fitting this model. Wanting to get some pattern testing in I mounted up a VX Freedom 1.5-4 moa ring reticle. I’ve only used front beads in the past so the optic is a fun novelty. The moa ring matches the overall footprint of the patterns well enough.
I have a toddler and a wife who doesn’t support my shooting so I had only a brief window to get my original patterning done.
I had two boxes of Verdict TSS and a box of Winchester double X diamond. Shot from 15-40yards being mindful of the $9 a round on the verdict.
I ran out of turkey head targets and used a bullseye. I later cut out a turkey head to overlay it on the bullseye and counted holes inside. For the turkey targets themselves I only counted holes in the vitals.
