Is there a place for a 20 gauge?

I think 12’s still hold their place in a lot of areas. I’ve shot everything from 7/8 light trap loads through 1 1/2 oz heavy waterfowl loads. Pretty unbeatable for a one gun solution in my mind.

That being said i have little interest in giving up my 20ga SxS for the uplands. That gun is such a joy to carry, but I don’t shoot heavy loads through it

100% agree with this. Ammo today makes smaller calibers more effective, enjoyable and closes the gap of the previous public opinion on this topic. Feel like this is no different than the smaller rifle caliber discussion.
