Is the TBAC Ultra 7 still relevant?

Still a great no frills can that you can trust. From a specs standpoint, they aren't the highest performers but they offer adequate performance. I'm not a fan of only being made with CB system. Hunting rifle went from shooting tight with an u7 to not so much with a new can on it recently. Not enough sample size to know for sure if there is anything to that yet.

Yea I think there is something to it. I find my TBAC cans to shoot the most accurate. I can’t explain it but seems to be something to it

I actually really like the cb system as I don’t have to worry about thread protectors.

Cant say I ever worry about thread protectors. They are protected by the suppressor 😁

Is it just during transport when a can makes the gun too long for a case?

Suppressors are like many thing we spend money on. The newer ones may be slightly quieter or have a tone someone likes but in the big picture does it even matter? Is there really any difference between a U7 and a newer can that changes the outcome of a hunt? Not to me.

I honestly wonder how louder the RR version is.

TBAC has some data listed and it is louder, although it appears they haven't tested the 375 version. I personally use the brake for load development/range to benefit from the recoil reduction and I have a custom flat cap for hunting to reduce overall length and increase sound performance, best of both worlds.

Care to PM me a pic of said cap? Please lol

My rifles are currently mating quicker than my suppressor collection, so it solves a problem for me. For example l I’ll leave my dominus on my 223 as the truck gun, then switch it once we get to where we’re hunting.

I don’t have a db meter but I have both, it seems a little louder but not bad.
