Hey guys. I personally have always been a pretty big fan of First Lites gear and quality. It also seems to fit be the best but the last couple pieces I've purchased seems less quality than previous years. Merino picking alot worse, stitching unraveling fairly quickly, etc. Maybe I'm over analyzing, but gear isn't cheap but I don't mind paying when the quality is there.

Eh, I’ve thought this for a while, had some of their stuff from way back when they had real tree pieces and embroidered the logo. Seems like once they scaled up a bunch quality diminished, but it’s pretty much always that case right?

First Lite quality went down hill years ago now. If you don’t have embroidered logos on your FL it’s quality is inferior to what it used to be. My Llano, Chama, and Furnace are still trucking and i think they gotta be like 10 yo now? No way todays stuff makes 10 years+

Rinella has a lot to do with that i’d imagine.

I love their kiln hoody but damn, seems like I'm lucky to get 2yrs out of one before holes magically appear all over it.
