I wouldn't worry about it long-term as wildlife populations given enough time bounce back from it. Known cases of CWD has been around for at leat 20-30 years and we still have plenty of animals to hunt. Wildlife populations will have their ups and downs depending on diseases, habitat conditions, fires, droughts, winterkill, you name it. I think the greatest danger to wildlife populations is fragmentation and loss of habitat. Example, building a housing development or ski resort along historical mule deer migration corridor or winter range.Lots of threads on CWD lately and I started researching it. I dont see how this doesnt end sport hunting in the next 20 years .
Any hope out there?
