Tetherd Predator Platform question

Should this part of the platform have this much wiggle or should I tighten it up? Was gifted this platform recently and it’s the first I’ve used.

You dont want it to rattle, but its designed to be able to move a little so you can seat it well on a tree with a wonky lean or odd shaped surface. Snug it up, just no need to have it crazy tight.

Tighten it up.
That looks like the original model.
Mine is more "Skeletonized" than that
