Is a 300 WSM worth buying?

I like mine. I shoot 150 grain Nosler CT bullets out of it. They are whistling. They kill animals.

This thread seems like the appropriate place to mention that 300 WSM Hornady ELD-X 200gr rounds are showing as available at Sportsman's Warehouse and Optics planet as of today, and Lapua brass is scheduled for production this year (as discussed in other threads). WSM aint' dead yet!

I sold my WSM yesterday. It’s a great gun, but alas it was not something I really needed. It simplified my life and my ammo storage shelf. The big boxes just made Tetris really complex.

I just bought a new tikka 300wsm last month. Pulled the barrel off that same day. It will live it's best life as a 6.5prc.

So the answer is yes, a 300wsm is worth buying.

Lapua brass on the horizon to add to ADG and Norma.. They keep making that the WSM will live on and prosper, just maybe not in factory ammo.
