Here's a pic of mine, looks the same as above. I'll cut back some hose, didn't want to do it until I tried the system out. No water in the dirty bladder in this pic, just hooked it up to show how I used it. I simply disconnect the inline fitting to my bite valve and hook the dirty bladder with inline filter up.

It is cheap, especially if you have an old bladder laying around. I bought mine in a backpacking store, so paid a few bucks more, but you can get it on amazon for just over $20. I have an old military camelback bladder that I hooked it into. Has a straight on off valve too versus a 90 degree bite valve so it drains straight down. Would rather pay $20 than $90 for the MSR that I was looking at.

Yep, just fill the bladder in my bag without removal.

Honestly, not sure there's a huge advantage either way. Saved me about 10oz and it's a little faster than my Katadyne, but I would have more difficulty getting water out of a small seep with this system. The time savings is worthless unless you are hunting solo or your partners all have the same setup. Even then, I don't get water when I'm in the middle of calling an elk or stalking a deer, so don't really think an extra minute or two matters.

I like the system, overall, but mostly for the cost and weight savings.

I like it.. You also have a spare bladder in case STHF.. Think I may go the same route, I already have everything I need

I personally don't get point of going thru the process of having a "clean" and dirty bag. I just use a big zip 3 liter bladder (dont' have to fill it full everytime if water is abundant but if it isn't its nice to "stock up" on water. You drop it in a stream and fill it and go on your way and it filters as you drink. Once at camp you can gravity filter into your jetboil if you feel you need to filter and boil your water or just dump out of the dirty bag into the jetboil and boil the water. No waiting around for the most part for pumping or gravity to filter into another container. Just dip and go....thats way I like the system and have been using since 2011.

and when you have abundant water on the trail, you can put the big zip in a long pocket attached to the outside of the pack, so you don't have to open up your pack everytime you want to dip & go. Doing it this way is when this system really shines.

Yes full size squeeze.

All the parts are here.

Here is that entire setup piece by piece and how I work it.

Do a search for Sawyer adapter kit also I have a Camelbak adapter kit in there also.

Just an update. Some guys have come up with really ingenious ideas on hook this up including as Luke posted above just going with a Straight dirty bladder and a sawyer Mini on your line. Although my setup here works. There are better more cost efficient ways to go about getting clean water then this one but this works great weighs under 15 oz and gives me great options like having either just 3 liters clean or having 3 liters clean and 3 liters of dirty if Im far away from a water source. For the sake of keeping Rokslide posts on the side of efficient I wanted to mention this.

Live2 you can get the adapters from REI or most outdoor stores. Also Walmart may even carry them. The Tubing is from an old Camelbak I had laying around.
