I don't think everyone knows that and all the western agencies need to do a better job of teaching that.
I think an animated video like the Rocky Mountain Goat Alliance on nanny harvest done by MDF and narrated by Robby would be a great start.
The amount of fat a deer enters the winter with is their bank account and every disturbance subtracts from it.
Also at these regionwide meets like WAFWA has there been any discussion of the states adopting a similar strategy to avoid one state receiving extra pressure from others

I would agree that we are at the point that all the western states probably need some sort of seasons at least in certain areas. Don't follow in Wyoming's lead though. These seasons and restrictions are for the animals not the shed hunters. The only thing stupid ideas like restricting NR more than R will do is make more people more opposed to the seasons and restrictions in general.
