Hi everyone- I was fortunate enough to draw a mountain goat tag this year. I have never hunted mountain goats and would love any advice. I have scoured the forum, other resources, and the idaho exam to try and paint a picture of what to expect. Currently I am planning to hunt the first couple weeks of October. My scouting has yielded less abundance than predicted which has led me to the second part of this post in hopes this broad group has members that have hiked, hunted, fished, etc in this unit and may be able to provide me with places to check.
