Idaho mid to northern rut yet

Has the rut started in mid to northern Idaho yet. Primarily Elk City areas through Orifino?

Heading up tonight to hunt through the 20th

Oh yeah. It’s prime time rut from what I’ve witnessed.

Here in Elk City. It’s warm 46 degrees. Appears the deer are moving at nite.

They were full on up north the last couple days. We saw five bucks in two days and shot two. We only saw one really nice buck though…

How’d you end up doing?

Seen 16 bucks today. 6 were shooters if this was the south and a guy could shoot more than a buck a year,

I think our area got hit hard with blue tongue didnt see near the deer we normaly see but grandsons boyh shot bucks
