Hey Guys,
Looking for some clarification on Idaho's bowhunter education course requirement.

In the regulations it states:
To buy an archery permit, all bowhunters must possess a
valid hunting license and show proof they have completed
an approved bowhunter education course or show evidence
of having been licensed for an archery-only hunt in Idaho or
another state, or complete an a davit to that effect.

So my question is what is considered an archery-only hunt? I have been archery hunting for 21 years in Pennsylvania.

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

They have an affadavit you can sign. The last option you mentioned. It is pretty straight fwd. you sign it and send it in with your money. You do have to pay an extra $20 to archery hunt.

If I read that right, your Pa archery license would be enough.

Do you have to send this in prior to buying license or just fill it out when you purchase them. we are planning on just buying the license when we get into Idaho.

thanks

I was able to buy everything online using license number from my home state archery license as proof.
