Idaho evidence of sex and tagging requirements?

Call me stupid but can somebody tell me in layman's terms what the Idaho law requires in regards to evidence of sex and tagging your game? (Page 102 in the big game regs.) So in the case of quartering an animal to pack it out it sounds as though you are required to leave the genitalia attached to one of the hind quarters. This seems ridiculous because you would want to remove all the hide and hair from the quarter before packing it. Also in regards to attaching the tag to the animal. Say you want to take your buck out in 2 trips. Do you carry the tag with you on each load or leave the tag on the antlers unattended till you get back to it for the second trip? (According to the wording in the book either the meat in your first pack or the meat and antlers you leave behind would be in violation of the tag law?) To those of you who are used to these requirements my questions probably sound silly but coming from Virginia I have never needed to attach my tag to the animal. And I don't need to take my deer to a check station; just fill out an online report right?

Evidence of sex can be 1 skinned out nut or a section of penis cord or for females the vag tube. No hair left on, just make sure to leave it attached to 1 hind quarter. As far as tag goes I’m not sure the exact legality but just attach to the antler or first load of meat and leave it at the truck. If an officer stops you in the middle of a pack out to your truck (unlikely) they can meet you at your truck and check you.

Last year we were checked at the road on our pack out. We had removed the hide off of the testicles and left them attached to a boned out hind quarter. I had cut a hole in the meat and ran a piece of paracord through it and tide the tag to the testicles and hind quarter. Everything was in one spot. Warden was fine with this.

Thanks guys! Your answers sound reasonable to me. The way the tag rule is worded you have to keep the head and all the meat together at all times but I'm sure a warden would understand if you had to separate it for a pack out.

Tag is supposed to go on the largest portion of meat. I always keep mine on the hindquarter that has the evidence of sex
This. Take it out first load if the Warden is going to check you it will most likely be at your vehicle or close to it. If not he probably is going to need to head back to the road anyway.
