Can a person buy an OTC archery elk tag and an OTC any weapon deer tag in Idaho? I have looked in the regulations, but can't find any info stating one way or the other. This would be for a nonresident.

Thanks
Todd

Yes you can.

If you're going to hunt any archery season, you must also buy a archery stamp

Elk is unit specific, either an A or B tag, deer is statewide for archery for the most part. There are some archery straw areas but not a lot. Rifle deer there are more draw specific units but plenty of OTC options.

Also, you can use your deer tag for a bear or wolf. Idaho F&W are great on the phone if you need more information.

You don't buy an any weapon or archery deer tag in Idaho, you buy a deer tag and it is good for all general archery or any weapon seasons
