Montana HU448

I am thinking about putting in for an elk mule deer combo tag for Montana unit 448. I don’t know anything about this unit. I just choose a unit that looked like I could hike back in a mile are 2 and get away from the general public. I really don’t want any inner actions with a grizz, but I know you always have to be prepared. This trip is just a scouting trip to find out about this area. I just felt like might as well have a tag while scouting.

Welcome to Rokslide. You should take an opportunity to look around a bit and you'll find this community is pretty awesome.

Now unfortunately we aren't letting FNG's (new guys) post up unit specific questions. Any unit question/answers remain out in the world wide webs forever, which can doom some really great spots.
