I pack in to look for critters, guess I should have stayed in my truck...

Yesterday I packed into a new area to spend the night and to check it out and also get some motivation to get into better shape... The skeeters were bad enough to drive me insane so this morning I packed up and boogied...About a half mile from my truck at the trail head I notice a set of bear tracks over mine from the day before..As I followed them I started to think it would be my luck if the bear had broken into my truck looking for food (they have been known to do this at certain places around here).. I kept hiking and watching the tracks and sure enough he made a beeline right for my truck..He climbed into the back and ate some old oranges I had in a milk crate and left dusty paw prints on my truck..My truck is a 6" lifted F-250 with 35's, I'm surprised he didn't scratch it up climbing in... Next time I'll set a trail camera on my truck lol...

Sounds like you were lucky it didn't damage your truck. My bird dogs have done worse trying to load up to go hunting.

It's good that bear did not thrash your truck or scratch it. I've seen some pictures where Yogi and Boo Boo bear went looking for the hidden pic-a-nic basket and were not so gentle in their search.
