Glad to her she is found. I don't know what she looked like before 2 golf balls a day of 70/30 hamburger for about a week should pick her up pretty quick.

Just saw this post a few minutes ago and read through it. Now I am sitting here with one of my Setters laying by my feet and tears in my eyes.
So glad this turned out the way everyone hoped it would. I hope she's doing ok.

So glad to hear that she was found!!

I lost an English Setter for a week while quail hunting and a blizzard blew in unexpectedly. I looked for her for days and was devastated. I got a call a week later and this story brought back so many emotions. Again, so happy this story ended so well!

Well we made it home and she's BARELY able to walk but she made it on her own from the car to the house and STRAIGHT to the feed trough. She ate and drank. I watched her for a couple of hours and no odd reaction. I called her outside, she made it on her own power and peed.....it was obviously a struggle for her legs....but eating and peeing are great news.

Tossed her some anti inflammation meds and will see how it goes. Luckily my ex-wife/her mom has been with veterinary surgical specialists for 20 years....so this will end well.

Great news, Wrench! She'll probably need a little extra tlc for the next several days.

Fantastic news! So glad to hear she's reunited with you and hanging in there. Some rest and food will go a long way.
