Thank goodness. I have been thinking of her constantly since hearing this. When I’ve been with my dog over the last few days I kept imagining how bad it would feel if he was lost out in the wilderness. Very happy for you and your pup.
Was thinking about you as I was petting my pup last night, hoping for the best. I've checked this thread multiple times this morning and just saw you found her. Great news man!
I would highly advise looking into a Garmin GPS collar (you can find good deals on reconditioned or used, too).
I‘ve owned big running english setters for my whole adult life. I’m now down to my last retired and deaf old dog. Even though my dog is a pensioner and doesn’t move too fast anymore, I still put his GPS collar on when he’s off leash.
I‘m not trying to preach or say you did anything wrong in any way, but a GPS collar is well worth the investment to avoid exactly the kind of scenario you just had to endure.
Such great news! Thanks for keeping us posted. Please let us know if there is any way we can show some RS appreciation to the folks who helped you out.
