Planning on hunting Idaho this Fall for the 1st time. I'm currently shooting 125 grain coc hybrids from Grave Digger, which have both a fixed 3/4" head and 1.5" cut mechanical blades. Can anyone confirm if these are legal in Idaho?

They are not legal in Idaho. On two counts. Fixed blade is less than 7/8" wide and a mechanical broadhead is attached to the arrow.

Straight from the Idaho regs.

Archery Equipment
In any hunt, including general any-weapon seasons and shortrange
hunts, it is unlawful to pursue or kill big game animals:
• With arrows or bolts having broadheads measuring less than
7/8 inch in width and having a primary cutting edge less
than 0.015 inch thick.
• With any bow having a peak draw weight of less than 40
pounds up to or at a draw of 28 inches or any crossbow
having a peak draw weight of less than 150 pounds.
• With an arrow or bolt wherein the broadhead does not
precede shaft and nock.
• With any chemicals or explosives attached to the arrow or
bolt.
• With arrows or bolts having expanding broadheads.
• With arrows or bolts having barbed broadheads, which is
a broadhead with any portion of which forms an angle less
than 90 degrees with the shaft or ferrule.
• With any electronic or tritium-powered device attached to an
arrow, bolt or bow. Except disabled archery permit holders
may use a nonmagnifying sight with battery powered or
tritium lighted reticles.
• With any bow capable of shooting more than one arrow at a
time.
• With any compound bow set at more than 85 percent let-off.
• With an arrow or bolt, and broadhead with a combined total
weight of less than 300 grains.
• With an arrow less than 24 inches from broadhead to nock
inclusive.
• With a bolt (crossbow) less than 12 inches from broadhead
to nock inclusive.

In short, no they aren't legal.

I'm 99% sure the main blade is actually 1". Sounds like it would still be illegal on count 2.

You are correct, they are 1" coc, but I guess the following expanding blades would still make it illegal.

Sorry to derail, how do those diggers fly? I am thinking of switching over from fixed to a hybrid.

Love them. I have had complete pass throughs with and the deer feel within 10 yards. I haven't gotten anything larger then a white tail yet with them but from what I have witnessed they are devastating.

I had good success with them last year. On a related note, it looks like my exodus swept blades are illegal in Idaho too, so now I need to buy all new broadheads. Thanks Idaho.

Yes, those are illegal as well. If you're using lighted nocks leave them at home with your mechanical and barbed broad heads also. Could be that you Texas fellas are just meant to hunt Colorado so you don't have to change your stuff out.
