I can’t add much value to what some have already said here. All I have to add is I thank God every day that I have a very low maintenance wife.
Looking back on our younger years, I was gone hunting a lot, while she stayed home and raised the kids. She also worked/works full time in a professional career. She hunted with me back when we dated in high school but put her hunting on pause until the kids were older/grown. I can’t say I recall even once, that she ever had anything to say about the time I spent hunting.
Now we hunt together all the time and have branched out of in state hunting the last few years.
We’ve been married 37 years so we’ve figured it out somehow.
