Thats whats cool about David at Native Textiles, you think of it and he will make it. There are lots of things and modifications I wish Kifaru could do, but they are a streamline company. David has modified a few of my packs and I have bought the orange panel and his gortex gaiters. Check out his multicam gortex gaiters on his website, they are super light and field repairable. NTcolorado.com

I haven't had much time so far this summer, but I'm hoping to post a review of the gaiters on here for him.

I can't remember if I posted this or not and I'm too lazy to go back through the thread. David made me one of these panels and it is great. It took me a couple of times of looking at it to realize you can stuff stuff inside of it. When I first got it I thought that the pocket was upside down (I'm not the sharpest tool at times). Thanks David!!!

Weight is 10oz according to my postal scale. It is 12" x 17.5" and the straps are 15" inches long. Remember that you can call or e-mail David and let him know if you want something added or something different done to it.

Arrived last night and I attached it to an X-Ray, on which it covers the entire back of the pack. Seems very well made. Will post photos attached to a Tarryall on a scouting trip next week.

Those look like they should work out pretty well - I will probably have David do some mods for me at some point on a couple bags.

Hard to tell from this picture but they used to make a grab-it in blaze - comes in pretty handy during rifle seasons. Think I read somewhere there was some problem with the fabric Kifaru was using on the grab-its failing over time but mine is holding up pretty good for now. Knock on wood...

I've been working with David at Native Textiles, and he seems like a great guy. I wanted to do some modifications to what he has already done for a few others, and he it totally willing to make it happen. I just drew up a design for what I wanted and emailed it to him, then we talked on the phone to iron out a few details. Hope to have some pictures of what he is building soon. Thanks welpro222 for the info on David!

I adjusted the size to 14" wide x 28" long and made the top and bottom slightly narrower. I also had him add in 2 zipper pockets, some PALS webbing between the pockets, and a couple loops that I can use for lashing items to the outside of the panel. Lastly, I had him make it reversible with hunter orange on one side and coyote brown on the other to use for both rifle and archery hunting.

This sounds great.

Well, since it hasn't been manufactured yet and the possibility for additional changes exists - I'll wait to answer this until once it's all finished. I will say I'm happy with the price David has quoted me so far!

It looks like my panel with the customizations I wanted is going to come in at $60. David really seems like a very fair guy to work with and very willing to create whatever you can think of.

That is a great price for custom work.
