How’s your fuel prices

I haven’t seen the dock prices for fuel yet up here in Alaska, but man commercial fishing this summer is going to be a slog if fuel prices remain high. My twin Cummins qsb’s are really thirsty

This shipping logistics YT channel, "What's Going on With Shipping" (673k subscribers) has an in depth analysis of the 121 empty tankers headed towards the US at the moment and what the potential ramifications of that are. Each tanker can carry 2 million barrels of oil, though the US tops out at the ability to load more than 4 million barrels a day. 5 might be achievable. Loading from the US vs the Strait of Hormuz adds about 30 days each way to the trip.

Topped $6 at the fuel dock in the marina last week. Them crab and salmon are going to be pricey this year. Can't wait to throw $600 plus in the boat this summer.

Iran;
Trump Can't win if he does...and can't win if he doesn't.

The way I see it is an ounce of prevention goes a long way. Trump has bent over backwards to avoid many other possible wars in Syria and such. The fact he stepped in tells me it was serious to the point of imminent disaster.

What if the US president had pulled out all the stop in the 1930's and put the kibosh on Hitler preventing WWII? That would have prevented an awful lot of destruction.

I see it the same with Iran and leaders there that have been sending the billions we gave them to proxy terrorists like Hezbollah, Stating they will Kill America and wipe Israel off the map and doing everything in their power to get there.

Second guessing Israel and Trump is a shoulda, coulda, woulda armchair QB scenario....funny how the people doing it are the most spineless in our generation.
Huh.

In other news, diesel is $4.98 in Helena, gas $3.88. Turkey hunting with the ol Ford 7.3L and camper is gonna be a bit pricier than last yr.

I don’t think all 121 are headed to the gulf, correct?
Now that Venezuela is properly online, I’d imagine they’ll handle a lot of the traffic?

I’d also imagine that since the blockade is costing Iran 450,000,000 per day, and since they’ve already been totally defeated militarily, Trumps plan to punish them economically will be working in short order…and thus the straight will soon reopen to Iranian oil.

Additionally, The Iranian pipelines can only be closed off for 2 weeks before there’s all kinds of issues.

Funny reading the headlines. You got people like Bolton saying this is a panic move from Trump, and others saying the blockade is a genius move.
My thoughts are, Trump has been playing this out for literally 40 years. There is zero panic involved.

Fuel prices aren't bad, if you not in Mexico-North (aka Calf). Here it's about a 1.50 higher than most other states. :ROFLMAO: If Trump completes his mission, then it worth it.

Sounds as if about 70 of those 121 are actually headed to the US, though there is news reporting it as "121 empty oil tankers headed to the US." The rest are heading to Nigeria, Brazil, Venezuela and possibly Mexico. Its covered at 7:15 in the video.
