Diesel went up to $4.79 and is now down to $4.65 in North Texas

Was in North Central Montana last week. Arrived on the 8th and diesel was $3.54. When we left yesterday the 15th it was $4.89. Got back home to SE Washington and diesel is $6.19

Why can fuel price go up AND at the same time producer stock prices go up? The price increase at the pump only helps their profit margins. So I guess this war was meant to make rich people more rich?

Beyond war, our current system of government is designed entirely for that purpose, to make rich people richer. I truly believe that is what drives virtually everything the government and elected officials are doing.
